Privacy

Effective October 24, 2026

forv is built to keep what you write on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.

What stays on your iPhone

Your affirmations, sessions, recordings, images, reminders and progress are stored on your device. When you recite, forv listens with Apple's on-device speech recognition; your voice is not sent anywhere. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, the on-device AI features run entirely on your device.

What is sent, and only when you ask

forv Plus features use outside AI services. Before the first one runs, forv asks for your permission. After that, content is sent only for the feature you use:

These requests pass through forv's server, which adds our service keys and forwards them. The server does not store your text, photos or audio. OpenAI and ElevenLabs process the content under their own API terms and privacy policies (OpenAI, ElevenLabs), and may keep it for a limited time, for example for abuse monitoring.

What our server keeps

To enforce the monthly limits of forv Plus, the server counts how many images, voice characters and writing requests you've used this month. The count is tied to an anonymous transaction number from Apple, not to your name, Apple ID or email, and is deleted within 40 days. Server logs record only the time, the kind of request and whether it succeeded.
